TTRPG Dice Privacy Policy

We respect and value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information related to you when you use TTRPG Dice (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

1. Information We Collect

By default, the App runs dice calculations locally on your device:

• Local dice data: The dice expressions you enter and the history of roll results are stored only on your device, and are used to help you review recent rolls on the same device.
• Account information: We currently do not provide a separate sign-up or login system and do not actively collect your name, email address, phone number or similar identifying information.
• Diagnostics and crash data (if enabled): If you choose to share anonymous diagnostics data at the system or App Store level, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash logs and performance information to help improve stability. This data does not allow us to directly identify you as an individual.

2. How We Use Information

We use the relevant information only for the following purposes:

• To provide and improve the core dice features and user experience;
• To display local roll history, helping you quickly re-roll or reference results during sessions;
• To analyze app stability and crashes, fix bugs and optimize performance (if you agree to share anonymous diagnostics data).

3. Data Storage and Transfer

Dice expressions and results processed by the App are stored by default on your local device. We do not store them long-term on our own servers. Unless a feature explicitly indicates that it requires network access (for example, fetching release notes or opening help pages), the App does not proactively upload your dice content to remote servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use Apple-provided frameworks for in-app purchases, crash reporting or basic analytics. These features are governed by Apple's own privacy policies. We do not sell or rent any information related to you to other third parties.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help keep the App secure, including following platform security best practices and avoiding logging sensitive dice content where possible. However, no software system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are also responsible for protecting your device and operating system account to prevent unauthorized access or device loss.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is primarily intended for users with full legal capacity and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifying information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has used the App without consent and has provided us with information, they should contact us, and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information where applicable.

7. Your Rights

Because dice-related data in the App is primarily stored locally, you can delete data related to your usage at any time by uninstalling the App, reinstalling it or using any in-app feature (if available) to clear history. For diagnostics data collected through Apple channels, you can adjust whether to share anonymous diagnostics information in your system settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to feature updates, changes in laws and regulations or security considerations. Updated versions will be published on this page or described in App Store release notes. Unless otherwise required by law, the updated policy will take effect upon publication.
